More Xbox One First Party Games for 2017 Than 2016 According to Phil Spencer

February 7, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

Expect new diversified exclusive titles for Xbox One

According to Phil Spencer, Xbox One players can expect more first party titles this year than last year.

Players should be happy about this statement, especially after the disappointing cancellation of Scalebound last year that had Xbox One players slightly pissed off.

I feel very good about this year. Should have more 1P games than last year, great diversity + launching new IP.  Good year.

He also emphasized “diversity” and “new IP” so this means we should be getting more than the usual Halo, Gears and Forza video games that get released all of the time.

2017 is going to be a big year for Microsoft with the launch of the Scorpio, which means they are going to need titles to support the monstrous console lets hope we see more innovative titles like the Xbox One exclusive, Sea ofThievess.
