Zone of the Enders is Hideo Kojima’s second most well known series, after Metal Gear, and arguably more popular than Snatchers/Policenauts. Both games in the Zone of the Enders series (ZoE 1 and 2) are popular enough to be getting a re-release on both the Playstation 3 and the Playstation Vita in a single HD collection.
In addition to being playable on current gen consoles, the new versions of Zone of the Enders will come with spruced up graphics and improved controls.
Today, the game’s creator Hideo Kojima released a picture of the final box art for Zone of the Enders HD Collection on the PS3. He tweeted the following image, calling it the “New CG packshot for ‘ZOE HD EDITION’.”
The collection is set for a release at the end of the year, followed by a port for the PS Vita. We’ll post the packshot for that version when that gets released, too.
