If you're a PS3 Battlefield 3 Premium member, then there's a good chance that Armored Kill might already be out now. However, for those still waiting and on other platforms, DICE has released the official launch trailer for the expansion to whet your appetites.
What we see below isn't exactly anything new compared to the previous trailers. Yes, there's going to be four new maps, a new Tank Superiority game mode and the inclusion of an AC130 Gunship. But what DICE did is splice all the action up to make for one very enticing trailer.
If you're sick of infantry-only modes in Close Quarters, then there's a very good chance you'll love Armored Kill with its vehicle focused warfare. To read up on the expansion's Assignments and Achievements/Trophies, click here.
For those who have already played the expansion on consoles, let us know how the vast maps handle the sparse playercounts and whatnot. Hopefully, it won't consist of trudging through miles of sand only to be sniped or C4ed once you reach your destination.
Armored Kill is slowly rolling out now for PS3 Battlefield 3 members, while PC and Xbox 360 members can expect to get their mitts on it on September 11.
