You know what I love? Starting up a game for the first time and not pressing anything so that I can watch the intro stuff. This is especially true with Japanese games, and Zone of Enders 2 here doesn't dissapoint.
Check it: there's space, planets, anime-quality graphics, giant robot things…yeah, this sounds pretty Japanese, right? Also present: explosions, lasers, women in your headset screaming as you fall into danger. And plot too, but I can't understand what's being said so I can't extrapolate on that. Who needs plot when you've got mechs though? Priorities, people.
There's some great Jpop accompanying combat footage here as well. Fun to watch even if you don't quite know what's happening, if you ask me. The video carries a sense of epicness, too. Helped by the fact that the damn thing is like eight minutes long. Crazy!
Zone of Enders 2 HD will release for both the Vita and the PS3 – in the same package. Technology, I tell ya.
