Developer Eric Barone expressed his interest several times in bringing Stardew Valley to PS Vita, which the studio is currently looking into.
“We are currently investigating the possibility of a PS Vita port.”
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players reported multiple issues with the game, ranging from server connectivity problems to save files becoming unload-able, obliging players sometimes to start everything all over again. However, the studio will reportedly release a patch in early February that will fix this and make even the broken saves work again.
Chucklefish and Sickhead Games are making good progress on addressing some issues with the console versions. Their top priority is to resolve the issue where saved games become unload-able. Fortunately, they’ve discovered the reason this is happening, and after this next patch, it shouldn’t occur anymore. If you currently have a save file that won’t load, it will likely work once again after the patch comes out. The patch will also fix several other issues… I’ll share the full patch notes with you when the it’s been finalized.
Barone continued to discuss the translated versions of Stardew Valley, which will hopefully release also in February.
