PSVR Title RIGS Cancels All Future DLC and Events

January 18, 2017 by Jordan Coetsee

No more DLC for the Mech Based Sports Game

Following the Closure of developer Guerrilla Cambridge Rigs: Mechanized Combat League will receive no further DLC or Beat the Dev community events.

The news comes via the game’s community manager Jeroen Roding, who took to RIGS’s Discord channel earlier to assure players that the futuristic sports title will continue to remain online despite the studio’s closure. The Cambridge studio’s parent company, the Amsterdam-based Guerrilla Games – who have not been shuttered – will also “continue to provide community support” to PSVR players.

Roding’s full statement reads: “We would seek to reassure you that the online service is not affected by this closure but unfortunately it will mean that there will be no further DLC for RIGS. We shall also continue to provide community support.”.

Besides, the seemingly annoying HUD, the game seems pretty fun. Skip to 20 minutes to see multiplayer gameplay.
