Earlier in the week, news broke that Square Enix had begun acountdown, teasing a mysterious announcement for RPG The World Ends With You. With over two days still left on the clock, it seems that Square Enix may have already let slip the news.
Andriasang spotted and reported the fact that Square Enix’s e-shop contains a new listing for a The World Ends With You official soundtrack. In the listing description, an iOS version of the game is mentioned as being due for release sometime this year.
Curiously enough, the text revealing that an iOS version was coming has since been removed from the site. That being said, the TWEWY countdown is actually still in progress, so we should be keeping our eyes open for an official announcement this weekend. Who knows? There might be more good news coming than what has been let out of the bag already.
