Peter Molyneux’s “Curiosity” Game Delayed, but Gets Announcement Trailer

August 22, 2012 by Alex Co

Peter Molyneux’s first game since leaving Lionhead Studios now has an official trailer, but its release is getting a delay.

Peter Molyneux's first game out of indie studio 22 Cans has been delayed. The iOS game, called Curiosity, is Molyneux's first project after leaving his post as the boss of Lionhead Studios (Fable).

I think it's safe to say that this game won't be for everyone — especially for those used to Molyneux's past efforts.

The trailer starts by asking "Can the world be brought together," and shows a ton of cubes forming one big cube and asks, "What's inside the cube?"

The trailer also reveals that Curiosity will be released on September of this year. Originally, the game was supposed to hit this week, so I take it this announcement trailer was their way of softening it, no?

According to 22 Cans' official YouTube channel, this is the first of 22 Cans' 22 experiments. So I take it the other projects might be as quirky as this one, no?
