HyperX Further Expands Its Gaming Gear Line at CES 2017

January 3, 2017 by Kris Kittie

HyperX has a great range of products including headphones, keyboards, and even memory.

Today at CES 2017 HyperX has unveiled two new components to its already expansive line of gaming gear. The first of which is Revolver S, the first gaming headset with plug-and-play Dolby surround sound, as well as the Pulsefire Gaming Mouse and three new ALLOY keyboards.

If you happen to be at CES yourself, HyperX will have a table at CES Unveiled, so be sure to check out all of their new gear!

The Cloud Revolver S is the most advanced HyperX headset to date. It offers plug-and-play Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound. The Dolby Headphone technology has been integrated via a new USB dongle that delivers immersive audio with the mere push of a button. Cloud Revolver S, as with all other Hyper X headphones, are designed for both comfort and competitive performance.

The ALLOY RGB Gaming Keyboard features a completely new keyboard design with 16M LED colors along with dedicated media keys. This keyboard offers gamers dynamic lighting profiles and control. The new ALLOY RGB gaming keyboard gives gamers the option to customized and control the key color settings and is encased in an alloy metal frame to ensure durability.

The Pulsefire Gaming Mouse is designed for professional gamers and is the first HyperX mouse includes an optical gaming sensor with four preset DPI setting with LED indicators (400/800/1600/3200). Gamers can change settings without the need for software.

The Alloy FPS Red or Brown Gaming Keyboards feature either a Cherry MX Brown or Red switch option and a full-sized steel alloy frame with a space-saving layout. This allows gamers to maximize their desktop space for FPS mouse movement. There are also two new switch options and textured red WASD keys for a tactile feel necessary for FPS gaming.

Rounding out the lineup is the HyperX Predator DDR4 LED Memory, which is HyperX’s first ever DDR4 Modules with RGB lighting capabilities. The RGB lighting can be paired with motherboards that have RGB control technologies such as Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, or MSI Mystic Light Sync.

Availability and pricing for these units are as follows for the time being:

  • ALLOY RGB: Available Q3 2017, pricing to be announced
  • Pulsefire Mouse: Available April 2017 for under $49.99 US MSRP
  • ALLOY FPS Red and Brown: Available January 2017 for $99.99 MSRP
  • Cloud Revolver S: Available March 2017 for $149.99 US MSRP
  • DDR4 Modules with RGB LED Lighting: Available in 2H17, pricing to be announced
