Black Ops 2 Video Showcases the Game’s New “CoDcasting” Feature

While you might already have Black Ops II info coming out of your ears, we're not done yet. In this latest video below (courtesy of Polygon), we get to see how the game's "Shoutcasting" or more affectionaly coined "CoDcasting" will help Black Ops II in the E-Sports scene.

CoDcasting is, essentially, a running commentary of whatever game you're watching. In addition to doing a running commentary, users can choose which player to focus on, show the killfeed, show the map from an overhead view and more. Basically, it's like Spectator mode but you're doing it live while others are playing.

So, why is this important for Call of Duty fans? Well, now players can (hopefully) set-up tournaments and hold events that will let other teams and players interact with in real-time. 

I can honestly see Call of Duty Elite going bonkers with this by holding tournaments, showcasing the top Black Ops II players from the world going toe-to-toe with each other and more.

If you're a multiplayer FPS fan, is this a worthwhile addition to Call of Duty or should they focus on more pressing matters before adding these things?
