Final Fantasy XIV has undergone some huge changes recently, and Square Enix is giving the community quite a lot of beautiful photos to drool over. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn sees the universe reimagined and hopefully what we see is what we will get. The images are fairly evenly split between concept art and actual screenshots from the game, a nice way to compare ideation to execution.

All of the concept art is fantastically done, and with twenty-two images to pore over Square Enix is effectively stemming the tide of anticipation with pretty pictures. I won't judge. Give me some concept art and color me a happy gamer.
The reworking of the original version of Final Fantasy XIV is going to include recreation of in-game maps, a new graphics engine, new user interface, a functional content finder, new server system, and revamps to 1v1 and large scale PvP. It's basically a new game. Square is standing outside of our window, holding up a boombox playing "In Your Eyes," hoping we will give FFXIV one more chance.
