Walking With Dinosaurs, Disney Coming to Wonderbook

August 14, 2012 by Mat Growcott

Everybody who knocked the Wonderbook is now wrong

Wonderbook was announced at E3 with a less than thunderous reaction from Sony fans. Why were they wasting time on such a silly idea? The peripheral wasn't aimed at those people and it was proven today just how cool the Wonderbook could be for kids this Christmas. The two big announcements involving the Wonderbook at Gamescom today cements just how successful this thing could be.

Firstly, there will be a Walking with Dinosaurs book, allowing children to interact and learn about dinosaurs in a whole new and exciting way. Using the Wonderbook and the PlayStation Move, dinosaurs will come to life around them in a game that's sure to make its way into more than a few stockings this holiday season.

Sony also announced that Disney will be supporting the Wonderbook brand, although no specifics were announced. For families with a PS3, the Wonderbook just became a no-brainer and anybody that laughed at E3 will definitely be eating their words when the first sales figures are announced.
