Dead Space 3 resurfaced at Gamescom today with a brand new trailer, courtesy of EA. The trailer shows Isaac Clarke's journey to the graveyard of dead ships orbiting the icy planet of Tau Volantis.
According to the game's story, the frozen planet holds the secrets to ending the Necromorph plague which threatens to destroy humanity by consuming the bodies of the dead and resurrecting them into something far worse than anything humanity ever had to offer.
Before he gets to the planet however, Isaac must unravel the mysteries of the derelict flotilla orbiting the planet and venture through its ghostly holds. With untold horrors awaiting him in the darkness of each ship, Isaac finds himself in a struggle for his life as he makes his way down cramped corridors in zero gravity.
Published by EA and developed by Visceral Games, Dead Space 3 is set for a February 2013 release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
