Could Sony's mascot brawler miss its October 23 release date? If the image captured by user V_Ben in NeoGAF is to be believed, it sure seems like it.
The image, which you can see below, has since been pulled from Sony's Official US PlayStation Blog, but lucky for us that someone got to it before it got yanked. It explicitly states that Sony PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale's release date has since been moved to November 20 and that this new ship date will be announced by SuperBot's president.
Of course, seeing as it's Gamescom week and Sony will have a presser in the event, it's understandable that they might want to make the official announcement there. Nevertheless, we're going to file this under the rumor category for now; but it's looking more likely that Sony fans who want a taste of that Smash Bros. love will have to wait a full month more for their ensemble fight fix.
Are you disappointed that PS All-Stars might be getting delayed or should Sony take as much time as they want to ensure the game itself is up to snuff?
Also, don't forget that the game will have an open beta before release, so that should help a scratch that itch a bit, no?
