Borderlands 2’s “Mechromancer” Class Available for Sale 60 Days After the Game’s Launch

August 13, 2012 by Alex Co

Borderlands 2’s Mechromancer class will be available for purchase 60 days after the game’s release for those who didn’t pre-order the game.

If you haven't pre-ordered Borderlands 2, then that means you aren't a member of Borderlands 2's Premier Club, which also means you won't be getting the fifth class in the game at launch.

This fifth class, dubbed the "Mechromancer," will be available for people to purchase 60 days after the game's launch. Of course, for those who pre-ordered the game, the Mechromancer class will be available for free when the content is made available — which is expected to be out the same date as the game's release on September 18.

Sadly, no pricing info was given at this time; although we do know this applies to all three platforms.

The Mechromancer class will be a female character who can control a giant mech known as the D374-TP or otherwise known as the Deathtrap.

Have you pre-ordered Borderlands 2 yet? If not, will you be getting the Mechromancer class?

Thanks, VG247
