Dead or Alive 5’s “Opening Declaration” Calls Out the Fighters

August 8, 2012 by Alex Co

Tecmo Koei’s latest trailer for Dead or Alive 5 calls out the fighters to participate in the tournament.

Tecmo Koei has released the latest trailer for Dead or Alive 5 called "Opening Declaration." In it, Helena is seen giving an open declaration that the next Dead or Alive tournament is about to take place.

Naturally, that brings the other fighters out of the woodwork. Watch as Ryu, Eliot, and the other fighters strut their stuff! In addition to the usual cast, Akira and Sarah from SEGA's Virtua Fighter series makes an appearance, too.

While the trailer itself doesn't show much gameplay, expect the usual over-the-top craziness one expects from the Dead or Alive series. Don't forget that this time around, fighters from Virtua Fighter will be added to the fray. So if you ever wonder how Akira will fare against Kasumi or whatnot, now's your chance.

Dead or Alive 5 is set for release this coming September 25 for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
