In rather surprising news, it seems this time a PlayStation 3 version of a game will be the better version when compared to its Xbox 360 brethren.
According to Amazon UK (via NeoGAF), the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed III will have 60-minutes of "exclusive gameplay."
Here's the actual blurb.
Amazon U.K. has revealed an updated cover for the Playstation 3 version of the upcoming multiplatform title, Assassin’s Creed III. The box art now includes a banner advertising the Playstation 3 exclusive contents in the open-world action-adventure game, which “includes 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay.
Of course, it doesn't exactly say what this 60-minute will actually consist of. If I would hazard a guess, I'd say it's exclusive DLC that's only available for the PS3 version.
Here's the official box-art that states this exclusivity,
Assassin's Creed III is set for release on October 30 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. There's also a PC version, but Ubisoft has still not given a firm release date regarding that version.
So, now that you know this, is this enough to sway you to get the PS3 version? Or do you think it still will be technically inferior to its Xbox 360 counterpart like the other multiplatform releases?
