This week some players will get to experience Titanfall 2’s first free DLC map. The map is a remastered version of one of the fan-favourites from Titanfall 1: Angel City Arena. The developers- Respawn Entertainment- have put a video of the map and how it looks for all to see.
For those who preordered the game; the map will be available from November 30th, and for those players who didn’t; the map will be available from December 3rd.
The “Angel City’s Most Wanted” DLC introduces new Titan abilities and weapons which will include the Wingman Elite Pistol, six new Titan kits, and a brand new Pilot execution. The DLC will also include a new in-game microtransaction store which will allow players to buy cosmetic items that; unfortunately; do not affect gameplay.
Not only will Titanfall 2 have its first DLC map, but also Origin Access and EA Access users will be able to try Titanfall 2’s multiplayer for free starting tomorrow on PC and Xbox One. It’s the full multiplayer offering which means all maps, modes and weapons will be available. This will include the new DLC map, which will be available from December 3rd for these users as well.
This update and DLC is building the potential for Respawn Entertainment as they look to release more expansions for the game in the future.
