THQ Releases Darksiders 2’s “Last Salvation” TV Commercial Spot

August 3, 2012 by Alex Co

THQ has released Darksiders 2’s "Last Salvation" TV Commercial and it shows Death riding through a modern day setting.

THQ is starting to go into hyperdrive when it comes to marketing Vigil Games' Darksiders II. And understandably so, since the action-adventure title is set to hit retail in less than two weeks.

In the video below, we get to see Darksiders II's protagonist — Death — ride his horse through a modern day city. No, he doesn't stay long enough to grab a burger or two as he goes straight to hell and battles its minions.

Yeah, it's made purely from CGI, which is shame since we don't get to see the game's awesome-looking combat in action. However, we do get a sense of scope on how big the game is.

For someone who's finished and enjoyed Darksiders 1, I'm hoping Death can be as awesome in the sequel as War was.

Are you planning on picking Darksiders II when it's released this coming August 14?
