FIFA 17 is free to play this weekend on both Xbox One and PS4. The game is not out for the PC and there are no plans to bring it to the system.

EA announced today that players on the console will be able to check out the game as a free trial throughout the weekend, providing them with limited access to the full game, including The Journey, its single-player story mode.

The trial also allows players full access to career mode. However, it comes with some limitations. Players who already checked out the free trial on EA Access via Xbox One will not be eligible to try out the game. Furthermore, only a small portion of The Journey is available.

If you buy the game, you will be able to resume your progress.

The promotion starts on Thursday, November 24 at 10am PT and lasts until 11:59pm PT on Sunday, November 27.
