Sony is keeping their promise to provide PlayStation Plus members with fantastic free content. Coming up in August, those signed up for the program will receive the first two episodes of The Walking Dead by TellTale completely free of charge. Sony confirmed via a blog post earlier today that the zombie adventure title would be available to US PS Plus subscribers on August 7th as part of an overall PlayStation Plus update.
The Walking Dead will join the ranks of titles such as LittleBigPlanet 2, inFamous 2, Just Cause 2, and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine. If you aren't already signed up for the PS Plus membership, each episode of The Walking Dead will run you $4.99, or $25 total for the five planned episodes.
Sony has also announced that they would be pushing another update on August 13th, which will include more titles in the Instant Game Collection.
