PSA: Overwatch is Free to Play This Weekend

Nov 17, 2016 Ian Miles Cheong

You can check out Overwatch for free this weekend. There are no strings attached.

Overwatch is free for the next few days. From November 18 to 21, the game will be downloadable and fully playable across the PC, Xbox One and PS4 platforms to invite new gamers into checking out the experience.

The free trial weekend will not come with any sort of limitation, so you’ll be able to earn levels and unlock cosmetics as you play—and even retain your progress should you decide to purchase the game later on.

All heroes, maps and the four game modes presently available in Overwatch are yours to try out for free. You can also check out custom games, if you prefer private matches.

Be sure to link your PSN and XBL accounts to your Battle.net account if you want to retain all your progress. Needless to say, you will need a PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership to download the trial. PC gamers don’t have to pay to access Battle.net, so get on it.
