While it's been rumored just a few days ago that Final Fantasy Versus XIII was already "dead," this has now been debunked by Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada.
Wada, who took to Twitter to announce this denial, also shared that he has just taken part in a periodic meeting for the game and remarked that the cityscape demo during this said presentation could "make you lose your footing."
Of course, cancellation rumors for Final Fantasy Versus XIII is understandable since the game was announced way back in 2006. Now we're almost at the end of this generation's console cycle and we've yet to see any significant info on it aside from its initial reveal.
Could Final Fantasy Versus XIII be moved to next-gen? It would make sense if it did and if so, Wada's statements can be true.
Whatever speculation you might have, consider this rumor smashes for the time being.
