Cole MacGrath, Jak and Daxter Confirmed for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

July 15, 2012 by Lana Polansky

Sony announces new characters for upcoming fighting game roster.

Sony has confirmed that Jak and Daxter, as well as Infamous protagonist Cole MacGrath, will join the roster for the upcoming brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

The trailer for Jak and Daxter, seen above, shows the two buddies from Naughty Dog's platforming series strutting their stuff–particularly, the duo will be equipped with their usual weapons, including the Gyro Buster and Mass Inverter.

Below, Cole MacGrath makes an appearance in his very own trailer as well:

Cole opens up a very character-appropriate can of whoop-ass, showing off his godlike lightning moves as well as some new maneouvres he picked up in Infamous 2.

The three newly confirmed characters join a diverse cast which already includes PaRappa from PaRappa the Rapper, Tekken's Heihachi, Twisted Metal's Sweet Tooth and Uncharted's Nathan Drake, among many more.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is slated for an October release on PS3 and PS Vita.
