A new developer diary for Dishonored 2 has been released ahead of the game’s, well, release. The new video shines a spotlight on Emily Kaldwin, one of the two main protagonists (the other is Corvo Attano).

In the development video, devs at Arkane Studios talk about how Emily is more than just a character with her own story to tell, and that she offers different gameplay options for players who are used to Corvo, who was also the main character of the first game.

She’s got her own reasons for being in Karnaca and her powers are wildly different from Corvo’s.

Dishonored 2 comes out on November 11 for PC, Xbox One and PS4. Players who pre-order it ahead of release can play it one day early.
