Take-Two Interactive, the publisher for Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead games has registered a domain tied to the upcoming Red Dead game, which has yet to be officially announced.
Earlier this week, Rockstar Games teased fans with images promoting an upcoming Red Dead title, suggesting that a larger announcement is on the horizon.
Today, fans digging into the studio’s doings have discovered that Take Two Interactive registered a domain called RedDead.Online.

The name would suggest that the upcoming game will, like GTA 5, have a significant online presence as a multiplayer title. Nothing implies that it’ll be multiplayer-only, of course, but GTA Online was a huge deal for the studio and continues to receive new updates every month, so it should come as little surprise that they’ll be taking the same route with the next Red Dead.
The previous title in the series, Red Dead Redemption, offered 16-player online co-op, but GTA 5 took it a step further with a persistent world filled with missions and activities, including races, co-op missions and competitive PvP. There’s no reason why the next game won’t be the same, if not more.
