Street Fighter X Tekken DLC Introduces Twelve Familiar Faces

July 9, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

This fight is about to get significantly larger.

On July 31, twelve new characters will be released for Street Fighter X Tekken. The line-up includes Dudly, Elena, Cody, Guy, Blanka, and Sakura from the Street Fighter universe as well as Lei, Lars, Christie, Bryan, Jack-X, and Alisa from Tekken. The DLC will retail for 1600 Microsoft Points, or $20 in real-people money.

Hand-in-hand with this new content is a set of twelve collaboration costumes for the new challengers. Playing dress up is cheap at 80 MSP or $1.

For players planning on adopting this title for the PlayStation Vita, you will get a huge discount with all the aforementioned characters included in the base game for free – no unlock price, no hidden fees. It seems like a trap. By pre-ordering the game you will also get the costumes for free.

This is one of the most highly anticipated cross-play titles coming to the Vita, and it looks as though Capcom is trying to reward gamers for giving this new feature a chance.
