Rebellion has announced that its first-person shooter Sniper Elite 3 is available for free for sharpshooters across the globe to play from now until Monday, 6pm BST as part of Steam’s free weekend promotion.
The third installment in the series of WW2 shooters offers both single and multiplayer action. On top of that, the game is on sale at a discount of 80% during this time. Other offers include 66% off the DLC Season Pass and 75% off the entire Sniper Elite Trilogy.
The weekend special comes in the wake of the announcement that the fourth entry in the series, Sniper Elite 4, is slated for release on February 14, 2017 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4. It’s set in Italy 1943 and promises to offer some of the most diverse environments ever seen in the series.
