Need for Speed: Most Wanted Offers Widest Selection of Cars in the NFS Series

The next Need for Speed game will offer the widest range of cars the series has ever seen, and all of them will be fully modable.

Electronic Arts has released a host of new, breaking information about Critereon's upcoming racing game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

In addition to a video, which showcases a few of the cars you'll be driving and some of the damage physics the game's engine is equipped with, the information blowout reveals a system of Speed Points, or XP, which can be used to unlock mods, upgrades, and brand new vehicles.

EA says that Need for Speed: Most Wanted will offer the widest variety of cars ever seen in a Need for Speed game, offering way more vehicles than anything else the company has ever released.

You'll be able to modify your wheels, rims, suspension, engine, nitrous oxide propulsion system, rollcage, engine, body, and just about everything else on the vehicle.

Finally, because Need for Speed: Most Wanted is set in an open world environment, you'll be able to discover and select new vehicles that you'll find parked in alleys throughout the city. You can do this in or outside of a chase.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is out this fall for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
