Company of Heroes 2 Screenshots Reveal Flamethrowers, Armor

Relic has released two new screenshots of its upcoming real-time strategy game, Company of Heroes 2.

The game is set to take place on the Eastern Front, with players taking on the role of the Soviet Army as they attempt to break the invasion of Russia by Nazi Germany. 

The screenshots reveal some armored combat between Russian and German tanks, and use of a flamethrower as Russian forces make their way through a snowy, suburban landscape marred by destruction. 

There's no word on whether Company of Heroes 2 will come to feature the join Russian-German invasion of Poland in 1939 or their failed invasion of Finland, also known as the Winter War. I suppose the inclusion of these events wouldn't be very heroic.
