Dishonored 2’s Creative Kills Look More Visceral Than Ever

September 21, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

These creative kills in Dishonored 2 might just sell you on the game.

One of the best things about Dishonored is its combat. The first game was hampered in a way that if you wanted the best possible ending, you had to refrain from killing anyone and thus not use all of the cool abilities the game had in store. If you had no qualms about getting the high chaos, or bad ending, then you could use any of the skills bestowed upon you by the Outsider.

Particularly skilled players recorded footage of their kill streaks and uploaded them to YouTube. These videos are really quite impressive as you can watch as players set mines, stop time and cast spells to kill multiple opponents at once in visually brilliant ways.

In the upcoming Dishonored 2, players will be able to do the same. Bethesda has banked on the popularity of these kill videos to produce their own kills montage for Dishonored 2. As you can see in the video below, Emily—Corvo’s female counterpart and daughter—can link her targets to kill multiple people at a time using her new Domino power.

It’s pretty badass. Watch it below.

Dishonored 2 is set for release on November 11 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
