Civilization 5: Gods & Kings is the first major expansion pack for Civilization 5. Developed by Firaxis, the expansion adds new layers of complexity and sophistication to the base game, which includes religion and spying.
Players can achieve new global challenges and quests, interact with new types of city-states, and tackle all new strategies on the water and on land. Nine new civilizations, nine wonders, and three original scenarios with dozens of new units, buildings, technologies and even resources have been added to the game.
To mark the release of Civilization 5: Gods & Kings, 2K Games and Firaxis have released a new video that goes in-depth into the new gameplay features that players will be able to experience within the expansion pack.
Civilization 5: Gods & Kings comes out on June 19. It is exclusive to the PC and Mac.
