A user named "Wakow" who claims to run "9th level security for NASA" claims to have had his Diablo III account hacked. He admits to not having a Blizzard authenticator and instead uses "lexil security pathways" and that his every connection is "closely monitored" by NASA security.

The developer says that most players get their accounts "hacked" after using third party software with these games.
