The next Nintendo Direct briefing will take place this coming Thursday. September 1st. This event will focus specifically on Nintendo 3DS games.
However, Nintendo will not showcase or discuss the new NX console during the broadcast, according to the company. The event will be held at 7 AM PT/ 10 AM ET on September 1st and it will be live streamed online.
There has been no mention thus far of the specific games Nintendo would talk about during this briefing or what news will be shared.
Some of the upcoming high-profile 3DS games include Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney — Spirit of Justice (September 8th), Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice (September 27th), Yo-Kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls/Bony Spirits (September 30th), Mario Party Star Rush, (November 4th), and Pokemon Sun/Moon on November 18th.
This comes shortly after the announcement that the 3DS was July’s best selling system in the US back on August 18th. As well as there are still a couple days left in the Nintendo 3DS/Wii U eShop sale.
