343 Industries Reveals Halo 5: Forge PC System Requirements

You’re going to need a decent gaming PC to enjoy Halo 5: Forge.

Microsoft has been closing the gap between the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. One of the ways the company is by making their Xbox One exclusives also available on Windows 10. Unfortunately, Halo 5: Guardians has yet to be fully announced for the Windows 10 platform and there’s no telling if it ever well. With that said, 343 Industries is bringing over Halo 5: Forge to the Windows 10 PC platform.

With Halo 5: Forge, gamers will have access to the full Forge map editor on PC which gamers can build new maps and play custom games. Today, the development studio has unveiled the system requirements to run Halo 5: Forge for PC and it’s apparent that you need a pretty decent rig to get the game up and running.

Halo 5: Forge doesn’t release until September 8, 2016, so you still have some time to get your PC up to recommended standards. Take a look at the various system requirements posted down below and let us know if you plan on picking up the game for PC by dropping us a comment.

  • Operating system: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607 or later
  • DirectX 12
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 at 2.3 Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • GPU: GeForce 650 Ti
  • VRAM: 2GB
  • RAM: 8GB
  • HDD: 40GB
Recommended Requirements:
  • Operating system: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607 or later
  • DirectX 12
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-3570k at 3.4 Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • GPU: GeForce 970
  • VRAM: 4GB
  • RAM: 12GB
  • HDD: 40GB
Ultra Requirements:
  • Operating system: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, version 1607 or later
  • DirectX 12
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k at 3.4 Ghz or AMD equivalent
  • GPU: GeForce 980 Ti
  • VRAM: 6GB
  • RAM: 16GB
  • HDD: 40GB
