Dishonored Looks Promisingly Violent With New Gameplay Trailer

June 1, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new trailer for Dishonored gives us a glimpse at the city of Dunwall.

To say Dishonored "looks promising" would be a terrible understatement about the game.

In development at Arkane Studios, Dishonored is a stealth-action title with a steampunk style going for it. It's being headed up by Harvey Smith, best known for his work on the Deus Ex series of games, Raf Colantonio, and City 17 designer Viktor Antonov.

The new trailer begins begins with the showcase of various locations in the dark city of Dunwall and progress to regale us with some first person combat, and even more scenes of the city. The song, "What do we do with the drunken sailor" plays in the background, its lyrics changed into something altogether more sinister.

It'll be out on October 9 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Expect us to cover it at E3 this year.
