Basketball fans should mark their calendars as Take-Two Interactive has just announced NBA 2K13's release date! The latest installment of (currently) the only hoops game in town is set for October 2.
While no other details has been shared just yet, I'm assuming fans should expect the usual tweaks to the game's graphics, animation, post moves and other basketball mechanics — as per the case with the game's yearly iteration. Mind you, I'm not really complaining as NBA 2K12 was easily the best basketball game available anywhere. Of course, the fact that it was the only basketball sim available anywhere did make the pickings easier.
NBA 2K being the only choice or not, I'm guessing Take-Two won't rest on its laurels as I'm sure EA won't be MIA for long.
What would you want to see in NBA 2K13? Who else could they use as their cover athlete(s) now that they've already featured the three greatest basketball players the world has seen?
