Elder Scrolls Main Storyline to be Mostly Solo

May 18, 2012 by Andrew Kent

It’s one person’s conquest to be the best.

The Elder Scrolls Online is a massive project at heart. To try and encompass all of the qualities that are the Elder Scrolls series into an MMO is going to be quite an accomplishment for Zenimax to do. One such quality is that you the player are the hero, the sole hero. No teams or bands helping you fight your way through the endless hordes, well except for some blundering AI that is. However, there is something that is promising about the up and coming game that is slated for next year. The Elder Scrolls Online’s main storyline will be a solo mission. No parties or clans, just you and your trusty weapon or magic.

This is quite an interesting turn for MMOs to say the least. Generally the point is to work together to defeat enemies and complete quests. I’m unsure as to how gamers will receive this, I myself really don’t know how I’ll like it either.
