Hardcore Splinter Cell fans, who are looking forward to the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell series, will now be able to own a Collector’s edition of Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction. The CE, with a retail price of $79.99, will be released on the same day as the standard edition (February 23, 2010).
The Collector’s Edition will include –
+ comic book prequel to the events in the game
+ an art book with illustrations from all the previous Splinter Cell titles
+ DLC weapon and player skin
+ credit-card-sized USB drive filled with art and a making-of featurette
+ two stickers: one of the Third Echelon logo and a bullet hole decal.
The pack does not include the iconic goggles since Sam Fisher no longer relies on his trusted bag of tools or those old school nifty goggles.
