Namco will reveal the next entry in their Tales series on June 2. Until that day arrives, they've launched a countdown site to stir interest and build anticipation. Because we all love countdown sites. Right?
In any case, fans seem to think this next entry will be a sequel to 2011's Tales of Xillia. Gematsu has a nice little compilation of the evidence including similarities in style and font.
I've personally not been impressed with the franchise for quite a while. I feel it's the greatest example of stagnation in the genre. The minimal changes made to the gameplay and art lead me to believe the series has become a bit more comfortable with it's niche following than is healthy.
In any case, hope springs eternal for this new game.
