In Smite, Terra The Earth Mother, Can Heal Teammates Across the Map

July 28, 2016 by Kris Kittie

Terra is Smite’s newest Guardian who’ll be introduced in the next update, 3.14.

PatchNoteCards314_TerraDefault-1The newest God in the Smite pantheon is Terra, The Earth Mother. Her specialties include high area damage and healing abilities.

Force of Nature is a dash that deals damage to anyone in her path. It can be used to shatter her stones, which then adds another three seconds to her dash ability.

Her Monolith ability raises a stone that heals allies close to it. By dashing into it, the stone explodes, rooting all nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds and dealing damage for 5 seconds to enemies who walk near it.

Crushing Earth creates two stones on each side of your targeted location. Enemies in between the two are slowed by 20 percent. After a few seconds (or when activated) the stones then slam together, both dealing damage and stunning enemies. Those who are caught in the middle will take damage from both stones.

Another strategy is to dash into either of the stones to explode and deal damage in a cone formation. Her passive entails that as long as one of her stones from Crushing Earth or Monolith is up, she is immune to knockup, and slows enemeis with basic attacks. If she destroys one of her stones with her dash, the buffs last more than three seconds.

Her Ultimate is Blessing, which buffs all of her teeam mates for 10 seconds regardless of their position on the map. This buff grants extra movement speed, reduces cooldowns (though not more than the 40% max). In addition, should any ally take four hits from an enemy god during the duration of Blessing, the ally will be healed.
