The Avengers just hit theaters this past weekend and it's setting records critically, creatively, and financially.
Yet there's no game adaption.
Well, that may change soon, as a trademark, filed by Ubisoft, has been discovered. It's for something called "Avengers: Battle For Earth". Many theorize it to be no more than a simple iOS cash-in, but I think there's a chance it's something more.
THQ's Australia studio did some promising work on an Avengers game before being shuttered. It'd be quite a surprise to see Ubisoft trot out a AAA project based on the property at their E3 press conference. Especially after the movie has become such a hall mark for super hero films.
