Rise of the Tomb Raider Targeting 1080p/30fps on PS4; “Anything Beyond That Is a Bonus”

Developer and publisher Square Enix is being really ambitious with Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration edition, targeting 1080p and 30fps on PS4.

Yesterday, we saw the announcement of the game as well as everything that will be included in it, and it has loads of content and lots of tombs waiting for you to raid. For specific details on which DLC that will be included, read the full description below:

Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration includes the critically acclaimed Rise of theTomb Raider, nominated for over 75 “Best Of” awards, in which Lara Croft becomes more than a survivor as she embarks on her first Tomb Raiding expedition to the most treacherous and remote regions of Siberia. Includes the new “Blood Ties” single player Story mode, “Lara’s Nightmare” zombie mode, new Co-op play for Endurance mode, VR support for PlayStation 4 , “Extreme Survivor” difficulty mode for the main campaign, 20 Year Celebration outfit and gun, 5 classic Lara skins and all previously released Downloadable Content.

In a statement provided to Videogamer, a Square Enix representative revealed that the studio is “still optimizing the game, and our target is 1080p at a minimum of 30fps. Anything beyond that is a bonus,” which means that the possibility of the game exceeding 30fps is present and may actually be achieved.
