Leisure Suit Larry, you are an interesting one – and apparently, 14,081 backers think so, too!
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizard’s Kickstarter finalized its funding stage earlier today to the tune of $655,182; their goal was to achieve $500,000.
While that may seem like a lot of extra funding, it pales in comparison to what other Kickstarters have seen in recent months – especially when being compared to efforts such as Shadowrun Returns and Double Fine’s adventure game.
It was also noted that with extra PayPal funds, the company received an additional $18,420.
The average donation was $46 a person, which is likely inflated due to peoples’ donations of both $10,000 (one person) and $5,000 (seven people.)
The game is currently scheduled for an October release on Android, iOS, Mac, and PC.
