Could We See The Next Red Dead Game At Gamescom

July 18, 2016 by Dennis Patrick

Take-Two will be present but what will they bring to the event?

Red Dead Redemption Will Soon Be Available on Xbox One

There were some big speculation pieces and rumors circulating around E3 this year and while we did get to see some of those rumors come true, one highlight anticipated announcement still evaded us. The next Red Dead video game installment has been talked about for quite some time now and we are still waiting to hear more about the rumored Rockstar Games production.

Now as we approach Gamescom, these rumors are spreading once again with several gamers and outlets suggesting there’s a good chance we may see Take-Two make the next official Red Dead announcement.

Gamescom will begin on August 17, 2016, in Cologne, Germany and there’s definitely room for big press conferences and announcements. It was earlier this month that Microsoft revealed their choice to step down from a press conference in favor of a fan event. Sony, on the other hand will attend Gamescom, but doesn’t appear to have any big events planned quite yet.

With that said, Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, will, in fact, be one of the attending companies for Gamescom though what will be shown off or announced has yet to teased.

While merely a rumor that we’ll see the official third installment to the Red Dead franchise at Gamescom, there are plenty of titles from Take-Two that can be highlighted at the event such as the upcoming BioShock Collection along with their anticipated Mafia III installment.
