Hitman: Absolution Gets Murderous in a New Trailer

May 1, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new trailer of Hitman: Absolution gets right down to the meat and bones of the game.

IO Interactive has put together a new video showcasing its upcoming title, Hitman: Absolution. The new video, titled "Art of the Kill", shows how the game's protagonist, Agent 47, goes about the messy business of killing people.

This newly released video is the first to contain gameplay footage, and it depicts how Agent 47 kills people, wears disguises, and hides bodies.

As with previous games in the series, 47's kills can be clean and painless, or incredibly gruesome and violent. He excels either way, and it's all up to the player to decide how to go about each mission.

As a master assassin, Agent 47 is also a master of disguise who can wear the outfits of those he kills or subdues to infiltrate locations that are otherwise sealed off.

Hitman: Absolution is set for release later this year on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
