GTA 5: Veteran GTA Series Voice Actor Rumored to Join New Cast

April 25, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A staple voice actor of the GTA series is rumored to return in the new game.

A veteran to Rockstar games, Gregory Johnson is rumored to be playing the role of a "Pedestrian" in Rockstar's upcoming Grand Theft Auto V.

Johnson previously took on the roles of "Pedestrian" in Red Dead Redemption, Barman in GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned, Tony McTony in GTA IV, and Mr. Ramirez in Bully, among other titles in Rockstar's huge assortment of games.

Johnson has been with both Rockstar Games and the Grand Theft Auto series since Vice City, and is credited as a composer in GTA: Vice City.

Arguably, Johnson's presence in GTA V is about as predictable as John Ratzenberger in any new Pixar movie. It's a given.

Grand Theft Auto V is set to take place in modern day San Andreas, a totally fictional city analogous to real world Southern California. No release date has been announced.
