Dishonored: A Mysterious New Website is Launched

April 25, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Bethesda has launched a mysterious new website for their upcoming game Dishonored.

dishonored

If you haven't taken a look at Dishonored, it's a pretty good time to start. The game's not due for release for at least half a year, but that doesn't mean you can't get excited about it during the time being.

Dishonored's a new game from the folks who made Dark Messiah of Might and Magic, and it's being headed up by Deus Ex and Thief designer Harvey Smith. It's no coincidence then that the game itself is a lot like those two aforementioned classics, in that it offers players the ability to roam more or less freely through the maze-like streets of Dunwall (and above the city, on its rooftops).

While we don't know too much about the game, Bethesda's put up a new site for Dishonored called RevengeSolvesEverything.com, which they promoted on Twitter earlier today with the release of a poster featuring the game's main character.

In addition to the new website, Bethesda's also running an alternate reality game (ARG) relating to Dishonored by sending clocks to gaming websites like Eurogamer and G4TV. You can try to figure out what the clocks do if you care to.

In the meantime, feel free to play with the mask on the official website.
