Capcom Warms up “Summer Jam” Event For Japan

April 23, 2012 by Ron Taylor

Capcom announces its Summer Jam event, set to take place in Japan.

Capcom is readying a new fan event, Capcom Summer Jam, that will be held in Japan at the Tokyo Big Site on June 30 and 31, reports AndriaSang.

The event will let attendees take upcoming Capcom games for trial runs, which should be interesting indeed. Resident Evil 6 is releasing this fall, so that particular game is a given. Neither is launching in 2012, but it would be great if Ninja Theory's DmC; Devil May Cry and maybe even Lost Planet 3 were there. Capcom and Ninja Theory say they're taking feedback during showing of DmC form here on out and in terms of Lost Planet 3, the popular reaction to the games announcement suggests Capcom is going to have to show people something that's worthe believing in.

We'll know what's up for certain very soon though. Capcom will announce details on the games that will be playable on May 10.
