Apparently Square Enix has been quite busy these days. Not only have they filed a trademark for “A Realm Reborn†but they’ve bought two domain names: arealmreborn.net and arealmreborn.com. You can try and go to both of those sites but they’re quite devoid of anything at the moment.
Now apparently there was a poem that was released for Final Fantasy XIV’s welcome back campaign and it mentions witnessing “a realm rebornâ€.
In the darkness Crystal dreams From the flames of Destruction A new Beginning rises Come, brave heroes Heed the Crystal's call Gather once more And witness a realm reborn
Now these two things could be totally unrelated and everyone is going to get underhyped for no reason at all. It’s quite possible that this “realm reborn†is a new title. However, the clues are hinting otherwise.
Square Enix is planning on relaunching Final Fantasy XIV this fall and a trailer for the new FF XIV is going to debut at E3 this year.
